Happy Birthday, Freddie!

Today, on what would have been Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday, I thought I'd share one of my favourite songs with you.

Written by John Deacon, "One Year of Love" was released in 1986, on the album A Kind of Magic and the Highlander soundtrack. Steve Gregory plays sax, and the orchestra is conducted by Lynton Naiff.

Enjoy, and if you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check out Google's "Freddie for a Day" doodle. Fantastic!

  1. That doodle made me tear up a little bit. What an honour and well deserved.
